Your arteries are the blood vessels that carry blood rich in oxygen all through your body. They carry blood to your brain as well as the tips of your toes. Healthy arteries have smooth walls through which blood can flow really well while clogged arteries obstruct the flow of blood.

Clogged arteries develop from the formation of plaques due to high LDL levels in the body. They generally increase the likelihood of heart attack, and stroke. It also always important to ensure that your cholesterol levels are low is it may result in problems after a certain age and sometimes also death!

It is however important to reduce the LDL and increase the HDL in the body.

How can LDL be reduced

The LDL can be reduced by less smoking and drinking, eating less of fried food and junk food, consuming less sugar levels in your diet, and increasing exercise in your day to day activities. You should control your blood pressure so that it does not increase the chances of clogged arteries.Take care of the formation of plaque from a very young age as it slowly develops from the teenage.
